This was originally written for a screenwriting class. Unlike the other script I wrote for that class, Apollyon, this actually was written with the possibility of being produced (though it ulimately wasn't)- hence the reduced scope, length, and general lack of complex action or visuals. I have weird feelings about this story because, while I don't think it's the worst thing I've written, it is probably my least favorite. I have pretty niche writing predilections with a general preference for weird fiction and body horror, and this story sort of stands out as having none of the tropes or conventions I'm generally fond of. A lot of that can probably be chalked up to being written with the constraint of having to be produced on a nonexistent budget.
